You are in the english section of progettosmilla.it the italian educational project of ANDRILL an Antarctic International Scientific Research developed, mainly, during the period 2006-2009.
From 2009 progettosmilla.it give to all italian schools only some service. The most popular and used is the Italian Version of the educational Kit called Flexhibit (see US website). For more info see the ITA website of this project developed with the National Museum of Antarctic and National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology.
From 2010 all the resources and experiences done for this project have been addressed to another project called I-CLEEN (Inquiring on Climate and Energy). Anyway have some plan for the future of progettosmilla.it too: in July 2011 we’ll organize the First Summer Polar School for Science Teachers (in cooperation with National Museum of Antarctica)

Nell’ambito di questo evento si tiene, ogni anno, anche un Workshop riservato esclusivamente agli insegnanti e dedicato ad un argomento specifico. Il workshop si chiama GIFT che sta per Geophysical Information for Teachers Workshop e il tema dell’anno prossimo sarà Evoluzione e Biovidersità. Oltre a relazioni svolte da ricercatori ed esperti di didattica vi sono anche parecchie dimostrazioni pratiche di esperienze didattiche di pronto e immediato svolgimento in classe.
