November 2007 – The project is going on…

We left last June 2007 saying good-bye and now we are back again!
The project progettosmilla.it is still going on during this school year, too. Progettosmilla.it coordinates the ANDRILL educational activities all over Italian territory.

The educational administration of the Autonomous Province of Trento has given me the opportunity to leave my classes at school in order to follow this project till August 2008. During this school year I will have the chance to work on that. These will be my tasks:
- helping Graziano Di Clemente – the Italian teacher now at the American base Mc Murdo as teacher for ARISE-ANDRILL
- going on with the project progettosmilla.it (see how it works) involving as many schools as possible spread over the whole Italian territory (till now they are 30 and the already involved students are 940, from 15 different Italian regions). See complete list of schools taking part to it.
- giving teacher training courses. See an example on a website of the "Museo Tridentino di Scienze Naturali" in Trento (Italy)
- collaborating with local museums in order to organise exhibitions on the occasion of the international polar year.
